Emma established Emma Mason PR in 2005, having worked initially as a news journalist and then heading up press offices in two FT-SE 100 companies. Local and national clients have included those in energy, gardening and food, with projects ranging from electricity pylon toppling with SSE, the quirky World’s Original Marmalade Awards and the all-electric MINI E car project.
With a focus on home, lifestyle and gardening clients, she has promoted leading composite door maker Truedor, open garden charity Scotland’s Gardens Scheme, modern-day plant hunters Sue and Bleddyn Wynn-Jones at Crug Farm Plants, garden photographer Andrea Jones, garden planter firm Arthur Jack & Co, contemporary garden building maker Norwegian Log, premium peat free compost maker Dalefoot Composts and garden screen/fencing company Stark & Greensmith. She has also publicised six RHS show gardens, an HHA/Christie’s Garden of the Year, numerous garden show trade stands and a project for Beth Chatto OBE.
Emma has corporate PR experience in food retail, energy, personal finance and IT. She is an Associate Member of the Garden Media Guild and a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).
Sara has been helping businesses since 2001 as a freelance copywriter, photographer and media relations consultant, with a background in journalism. She has been involved in a wide variety of industry sectors, including healthcare, high tech materials, leisure, IT, accountancy, leisure, agriculture and the law.
Sara’s PR, photography and writing skills have helped promote the business services of commercial clients such as Capgemini, Ernst & Young, BAA, Bayer, SSE, Claas, and Newbury Racecourse. Variety is the spice of business life, and she has proof read tender submissions involving the London Olympics; written the technical story behind the building of Terminal 5, Heathrow, promoted Berkshire’s biggest agricultural show, and publicised the opening of new electricity depots.
When behind a lens, she has photographed the completion of a 3.8km subsea gas main, the official opening by HRH Prince Charles of a brand new biogas plant as well as quirky assignments such as the launch of high tech £500k combine harvesters, and the upgrading of high voltage electricity networks.
Sara plays a key role as part of the Bayer/UK internal communications team and provides media support for global plastics company, Covestro, in the UK.

Sarah is a senior PR professional with 25 years’ experience working predominantly in-house but also agency. She has particular experience in the retail, consumer, food and FMCG sectors, working with well-known names including Superdrug, Homebase, Safeway, Charles Worthington and Lloyds Pharmacy.
She has been responsible for developing and delivering a series of effective, high profile consumer, trade, corporate and socially responsible PR campaigns, working on the Superdrug Fine Fragrance War which won a PR Week Award for Best PR Campaign, and with Debbie & Andrew’s and HECK food companies, plus celebrity fundraising for Breast Cancer Care to name a few.
Sarah has solid experience in the area of profile PR, having worked at company and managing director level with celebrity hairdresser Charles Worthington to promote his product and salon divisions and, more recently, several clients in the food and lifestyle arena to tell their story and get them on the map.
She has been a senior freelance PR consultant for 11 years, working on strategic and creative PR for Debbie & Andrew’s, where she developed the hugely successful Pig In Boots campaign, and HECK that has gone from food start-up to £18m in four years. Sarah has also worked on PR campaigns for The Harrogate Sausage Company, Coconutgrass (online home & personalised gift company), Lily’s Kitchen, The Kitchen (make it yourself Michelin-star meals), Cook, Higgidy, Rude Health, Martin Miller’s Gin, The Licktators (luxury ice cream), Colgate Palmolive. The Chapel hairdressing & lifestyle company and children’s organic lifestyle brand Tatty Bumpkin.
Martin has over 25 years’ experience as a journalist, editor and content specialist.
A qualified journalist, with substantial experience in regional newspaper publishing he has written compelling stories and produced creative content for award-winning newspapers, business publications, leisure and lifestyle magazines as well as a number of websites.
As news editor and deputy editor for a regional newspaper group, he was responsible for producing and editing news content and features, and as digital editor, he launched and managed a multi award-winning website as well as overseeing the newspaper’s social media channels.
A passionate gardener, he is currently studying for an RHS qualification in his spare time.
